Hello REP traders. It is refreshing to see a subreddit like this. Every time there is a wave of adoption, other large subs become inundated with inexperienced people shouting hodl/moon/lambo, and downvoting experienced oldtimers who try to give sane advice. I am definitely interested in following this sub now that I have discovered it. I mostly trade LTC, but I also trade into other coins when it's appropriate, including REP.
But yea, in the larger LTC subs, this hodl nonsense has taken over. It was sad to see experienced traders be downvoted and told to 'fuck off', so that people can circlejerk their hodl memes. A lot of LTC traders became fed up and decided to make our own subreddit (/r/LitecoinTraders), similar to this one. We don't tolerate low-effort or useless memes. I'm going to add this subreddit to our sidebar's 'related subreddits', so that people can have access to it.
I also think it's possible that we could build a network of serious trading subreddits, and was hoping this one would want to be a part of it. I recently created /r/CryptoTraderNetwork, and am working on a landing page similar to the sfwpornnetwork's that pulls together all of these subreddits. It's still under construction but I am working hard to make it happen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i wanted to share something with you. We (Warsaw-based team) made a tool in which you can check all the top holders of particular tokens - for example REP. There are many other features - besides top holders you can check all their transactions and a list of tokens they own. You can check any account on ethereum blockchain and see connections between them.
I want to show you this tool, but just please - don’t expect too much :) it's in a beta version, and it’s still in progress. Any feedback and comments will be crucial for us.
So if you would like to check REP tokens you can do that here: http://trivial.co/t/0xe94327d07fc17907b4db788e5adf2ed424addff6 (the number in the link is just a smart contract number of REP - you can check it with any different token on Ethereum blockchain).
If you dont want to check the link, I’ve made a screen shot for you https://imgur.com/a/XODB1
let me know that you think!
I had also bought augur rep tokens during the crowdsale. I have an email from augur stating:
"The encrypted private key for the new Ethereum account 53a8ecc4734e547a6c98b24cb1fe4b0f83f4d521 you generated at sale.augur.net is attached to this email. This key and the passphrase that protects it are VERY IMPORTANT. All purchased REP will be associated with this Ethereum account and protected by this key. Please take appropriate precautions to secure this key and its passphrase.
How do I access this ethereum address generated on the crowdsales sales app so that I can trade my REP tokens? I am certain that I remember the passphrase I created at the time on the augur sales webspage - please help! Complete noob concerning this
Curious if anyone can provide an explanation why REP price is so closely correlated with ETH usually during large run ups, although this time we are yet to match our last ATH
Is it something to do with REP being one of few ERC20 tokens you can easily buy with Fiat on exchanges like Kraken, or is there some other explanation?

Check out CoinMarketCap for Desktop and track your favourite cryptos much more easily! You can also set to launch it on startup + there are many cool features on the roadmap, such as automated refresh and ability to set notifications when a specific price is hit. Not affiliated with the official website.
You can download it from here: https://coinmarketcapdesktop.com I will continue to work on the project, as much as my time will allow it, but of course the code is open source and anyone is able to contribute: https://github.com/PaulRBerg/CoinMarketCap-Desktop
It is currently an open beta, I am looking for testers and an honest feedback to improve it.
You can add exchanges keys (READ ONLY), wallet addresses (Augur supported!), manually add holdings (or watch-only entries), read news, view your portfolio (using different charts) and your profit/loss, check candlestick charts (from 1y to 30min) and much more coming soon...
Anyway, if you are interested in trying this app here's the play store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bitsnapp.com.bitsnapp
Remember that it's a beta version, please report any bug you find so I can fix it, also, let me know if you like it or if you have suggestions, I am looking forward to receive your feedback!

Last week we saw a really good rally in the price of REP leading up to the release of the weekly development update and then a quick return to trend after it was released
The update sounded relatively positive to me, so I am wondering about what peoples expectations are for this week and what it will take to get people to pile in again?
Also how do you think REP price will be affected by a major correction in BTC or will it be affected at all?
Made some BTC trading Bitcoin Cash; used some of the proceeds to bolster my REP position. Possibly I will add another 10% to my current position.
REP has gotten a bit tough to buy. Volume is much lower than it used to be at exchanges like Polo and Bittrex. Getting this position was difficult since I do not want to move the market significantly and let the bots know that there is a significant buyer.
There were big moves to the upside and downside today at Polo/Bittrex on relatively large trades.
